Nata dall’incrocio spontaneo tra Menta acquatica e Menta crispa, la Menta piperita è una pianta fortemente aromatica: l’aggettivo “piperita” descrive proprio una nota penetrante e intensa del suo sapore e del suo profumo. Con le foglie si prepara un infuso dal gusto gradevole e inconfondibile: rinfrescante e balsamico, da assaporare a qualsiasi ora del giorno e in particolare dopo i pasti.
